Question
What are the most important hermeneutical principles we should follow?
Answer
The most important principles for evangelical interpreters is to be serious with the text, that you really want to understand the text in its original meaning as how the first recipients heard it. And that you really faithfully convey it to people living in a totally "other" context, in such a way that it impacts their lives and enrich their lives. And the most important issue is to bring them in a closer relationship with the real author of the Word, the Lord Jesus Christ.
